Kindergarten
~ In-House Program
Players
will hit off a tee all season. Games will be played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Teams are formed by the school they
attend, address and coaching volunteers available. Everyone participates regardless of ability.
Players
receive a T-shirt and visor to keep. Practices may start in May. Games run June
through July.
VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED.
1st
Grade ~ In-House Program
Players
will have the coach pitch to them. Games will be played on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Teams are formed by the school they
attend, address and coaching volunteers available. Everyone participates regardless of ability.
Players
receive a T-shirt and visor to keep. Practices may start in May. Games run June
through July.

2nd
Grade ~ In-House Program
Players
will have their coach pitch to them to begin and move to Players pitching half-way through the season. Games are played as
close to “real” games as possible and scores are kept. Games will
be played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Teams are formed by the school they attend, address and coaching volunteers available.
Everyone participates regardless of ability. Players receive T-shirt and visor to keep. Practices start in May. Games run
June through July.

Grades
3&4 combined ~ In-House Program
Players will pitch. No pitching
machines will be used. Games are played as real games (with minor exceptions) and scores are kept. Traveling to local communities
required. Games will be played on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Teams are formed by the school they attend, address and coaching
volunteers available. Everyone participates regardless of ability. Players receive a T-shirt and visor to keep. Practices
start in May. Games run June through July. A one day tournament will be held
in July on a Saturday to be determined.

- 18 year old Mankato Mintz
Formerly
“Southern Stars”. This is a competitive, traveling fast-pitch league. Games will be played against other teams
within MAGFA and from area communities. Games are played twice a week. 18U and
16U teams play Tuesdays and Thursdays. 10U, 12U and 14U teams play Mondays & Wednesdays. Tryouts are conducted to place
players on teams, no cuts. Teams will be formed by strength of position, school, address and coaching volunteers available.
There will be 1-2 weekend tournaments. Players receive a team jersey and socks to keep. Practices may start in April. League
play will start mid May & end mid July. Teams will only be formed if there is enough interest and we can locate a coach.

– 18 year old Mankato Peppers
This
league is a highly competitive, traveling fast-pitch program. Teams will be formed
by try-outs. Those not making a team will be placed on a Mintz team. The 14U, 16U and 18U Traveling teams were formed for
2008 via try-out in August of 2007. League games are played twice a week within the Southern Star League. Teams will also
be entered into 4-6 weekend tournaments, with possible State and Nat’l tournaments. Season will start in April with
practices, and run through the end of July. In addition to the program fee, players on Mankato Peppers teams are encouraged
to contribute financially toward their coach’s expenses for travel and lodging at tournaments as well as any gate fees
charged to the team.
